Free Ebook: Increase Your Web Traffic

Wednesday, November 1st, 2006

Hi. I've got a new ebook for you that will help increase your search engine ranking and bring more traffic to your site.

The ebook consists of a list of all the main social bookmarking sites on the web with an active link for you to submit your web pages to each.

"So what?", you say.

Listen, social bookmarking sites are quickly replacing traditional web directories as the most effective places to search for — and promote — any and all of your web pages. Best of all, the search engines LOVE these sites. Especially Google.

My own social bookmarking site EbookTags.com went live on September 29th. During the first month (November) Google's indexing spider visited EbookTags.com 48,310 times! Yes, that's over 48 THOUSAND times!! In the first month!!!

The number of visits continues to grow on a daily basis and I've had to ask my webhost to increase my bandwidth twice in the past two weeks!

Can you imagine, if my site gets that many visits from Google after just one month, how many visits the long-established, major players are getting?

What's especially interesting about social bookmarking sites is that you can associate any keywords you want with the content of your page. So, if your page is dedicated to, say, daffodils, you can include the word "daffodils" as a keyword (tag) associated with that page.

Now, when Google follows the tag "daffodil" on the social bookmarking site, your page is listed among the others associated with that word and is, therefore, seen by Google as being relevant to that word. Right away you've gained credibility in Google's eyes. Do this across all the social bookmarking sites and Google will start to love your site.

Of course, these sites are also visited by real surfers. LOTS of them. By having your pages listed under relevant keywords, you'll also get lots of real traffic direct from the social bookmarking sites.

Here's what I suggest you do…

  – Firstly, download the ebook here and read the brief introduction.

  – Secondly, starting with all the main sites recommended at the beginning of the ebook, go and create an account on the social bookmarking sites listed.

  – Submit your main pages for now. Later, when you have a few moments to spare, pop in from time to time and add more pages.

  – Do a little bit of this all the time (how about 15 minutes every day?) and you'll start getting serious results for your effort in no time at all.

Don't forget… just like any other part of your marketing, it's important that your page titles and descriptions are as attractive as possible. After all, there's no point in getting in front of lots of pairs of eyes, if your page title says "This is My Ebook Page".

People are REAL busy, so you've got to give them a good reason to click.

That's it for now.

Make social bookmarking part of your daily marketing routine and you'll be enjoying the benefits quicker than you think.

All the best,

Michael
