I’m Running for US President (and I Just Made Channel 3 News)

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

Hi. You may or may not have heard about my grassroots internet campaign to become next president of the US — it's really gaining momentum at the moment and I just made it on Channel 3 News.

More about that below.

Firstly, however, I've got another valuable gift for you.

It's called "Confessions of an Online Marketer" by Glen Hopkins (no relation)(I think!) and it currently sells for $19.95 at Amazon.com.

To grab your copy, just enter the word "free" (without quotations) in the coupon code field provided under the order button here:

And now, my campaign to become next president of the US…

Rather than go into the details here, I'll just let you watch this Channel 3 News report which explains all:

Vote for me!

Create Professional Ebook Covers — Without Photoshop

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Hi. There have been LOTS of attempts over the years to develop an ecover graphic solution that's easy to use and that produces terrific looking images — regardless of your ability.

Most of these attempts failed in one or more ways.

For example, many of them needed the very expensive Adobe Photoshop to work and, even if you had Photoshop, you still needed to create nice looking graphics from scratch in order to
turn them into 3D images.

And, let's face it, most of us are no good at graphics.

Now, however, there's a new ecover solution available that doesn't require Photoshop and that produces GREAT looking ecovers even if you're useless at graphics.

You'll find the details here:
http://www.ebooktimes.com/simple_ecovers

Essentially, this is a collection of templates (ebook cover, DVD box, CD, etc…) together with a massive range of special effects, picture shapes and web 2.0 style layers — all of which can be applied with the click of a button. Just add your text and you're good to go.

This is so easy and intuitive that ANYONE can create great looking graphics in just minutes.

While this package DOES work with Photoshop — it ISN'T required. Instead, you can use an excellent free graphics program called Gimp — and you'll even get a video walkthrough on how to create your ecovers with that software.

If you're looking for a simple, professional ebook cover solution, then this might be just what you need:

All the best,

Michael
