Q) What exactly does Link Directory Submitter (LDS) do?
A) LDS streamlines the process of submitting your website to the many web directories. In a nutshell, you create a profile for each website you want to submit (including the URL, keywords, description, etc.).
Then, you click to the ’submit a link’ area of each directory and hit a button so that LDS fills in the submission form for you.
Then ‘rinse and repeat’ for all the directories — and all your websites.
Q) What kind of sites does LDS submit to?
A) The directories in LDS range from the highly valuable PR8 directories at the top of the list (such as dmoz.org) down to lesser PR0 or PR1 directories.
Personally, I tend to focus on submitting to all those with a PR3 or higher — that way I get maximum benefit in the minimum time.
