Here are Two Nice Downloads for You

Friday, May 29th, 2009

Hi. I’ve got two nice downloads for you today!

One is a great little piece of software (with full master resale rights) the other is a niche ebook (with full private label rights).

As usual, I won’t ask you to sign up for anything, just hit the download links.

HOWEVER…

This time, I HAVE placed an extra page along the way to the downloads. (Don’t worry, I won’t make a habit of it…)

Just take a moment to study that page and ask yourself if you could use one like that on YOUR website.

If you answer ‘Yes’, then you’ll know what to do. If you answer ‘No’, then just hit the link at the bottom to get direct access to your downloads.

Here’s the URL — again, please be sure to take a CAREFUL look at this page before continuing to your downloads:

Get 2,700 Backlinks to Your Site!

Friday, May 22nd, 2009

Hi. A couple of years ago I spent $67 on a copy of a new software program called Link Directory Submitter.

It was a “no-brainer” investment at the time because it’s simply a great piece of software that does exactly what it’s supposed to do — generate LOADS of search-engine-friendly backlinks to your website.

Well, now I’m in a position to offer the brand NEW version of Link Directory Submitter to you — at a fraction of the price I paid back then.

You’ll find all the details here:
http://www.ebooktimes.com/Link-Directory-Submitter-MRR/index.html
( By the way, a master resale rights option is also available — so if you’re looking for a terrific product to sell from your website, jump on this offer while you can.)

Some additional info…

Q) What exactly does Link Directory Submitter (LDS) do?

A) LDS streamlines the process of submitting your website to the many web directories. In a nutshell, you create a profile for each website you want to submit (including the URL, keywords, description, etc.).

Then, you click to the ’submit a link’ area of each directory and hit a button so that LDS fills in the submission form for you.

Then ‘rinse and repeat’ for all the directories — and all your websites.

Q) What kind of sites does LDS submit to?

A) The directories in LDS range from the highly valuable PR8 directories at the top of the list (such as dmoz.org) down to lesser PR0 or PR1 directories.

Personally, I tend to focus on submitting to all those with a PR3 or higher — that way I get maximum benefit in the minimum time.

Q) Will I get any tr.affic from these directories?

A) You’ll most likely get some tra.ffic from them (especially the popular PR5,6,7 and 8 ones).

More importantly, however, is you’ll get valuable search-engine-friendly backlinks which will improve your position in the search engine results.

Set aside 10-15 minutes each day to submit your site(s) and you’ll soon start to gain considerable momentum.

Q) Won’t the list of directories becomed outdated with the inevitable coming and going of websites that happens on the internet?

A) Once you own LDS, you’ll get f.ree upgrades for life (and this includes regular upgrades to the directory list). These updates happen seamlessly from inside the software.

Q) If my link features on some obscure sub-category of a sub-category, won’t it be missed entirely by Google and company?

A) If you’re concerned that the page featuring your link is not being indexed by the search engines, here’s what you can do…

Use a service like onlywire.com or socialmarker.com to quickly bookmark the page containing your link across a broad range of social bookmarking sites. Now you’ll have a
range of links pointing to the page with YOUR link and there’s no way that Google won’t find it.

Okay, I think that covers it for now.

Be sure to take advantage of this offer — and secure your copy of Link Directory Submitter with free upgrades for life — at a fraction of the original price.

All the best,

Michael

How do I Get my Text into Ebook Format and Distribute/Sell it Online?

Wednesday, May 13th, 2009

Hi. The question below is one that I get asked quite a lot so I figured it was time to turn it into an Ebook Times Q and A.

Here we go…

Q. I’ve just finished writing a book on a text editor. What do I need to do to make it an ebook and add it to my website?

A. What you need to do now is convert your text document to PDF format. Once in PDF format, you can distribute your ebook on the internet — and it will be compatible with just about every type of computer (Mac, PC, Hand-held etc.).

There ARE other ebook formats/types that you can make but none are as universally compatible as PDF.

To make a PDF ebook, you need a PDF-compiler.

There are lots of options available (including the original Adobe Acrobat which sells for $450+ here).

Here are a few alternative options that won’t go quite so hard on your pocket…

- You could download the free office suite here because its text editor includes an option to convert your files to PDF:
http://www.openoffice.org/

- You could try the free software available here (it forces you to look at some ads during the process of making the PDF — you can disable these ads for a one-off $9.95):
http://www.pdf995.com/

- This is a nice little PDF compiler that I sell myself. You can even get the resale rights to this one:
http://www.create-pdf-files.com/

- You can try the Adobe online PDF creator here (US and Canada only):
http://createpdf.adobe.com/

This is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. There are LOTS of other PDF compilers available out there — with varying features and ease-of-use. If you search Google for PDF compiler (or converter), you’ll find plenty of other options.Once you’ve created your PDF, you need to add it to your website so that others can download it.

You’ll find the information you need for this at these links (select as appropriate)…

One last point…

Even if you don’t want to write an ebook of your own, this same procedure is all you need in order to convert some of your PLR (private label rights) articles or PLR ebooks into brand new products that you can call your own.

While you may not be too comfortable with selling an ebook created using PLR content — you could certainly use it as a free promotional vehicle for your other products or affiliate products that you promote. Just find the right content, add YOUR links, compile it into a PDF and then make it available for download.

Okay, that’s it for now. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, don’t hesitate to leave a comment below. (At the very least, you’ll get a nice backlink to your website.)

UPDATE: I’ve just added a video that shows how to make PDF ebooks using MS Office 2007. You’ll find that video here.

All the best,

Michael

Hi. Just a very quick note to draw your attention to an EXCELLENT new offer I’ve just come across.

You can get your hands on 10 New PLR products and 10 New MRR products — and if you move fast, you can grab the whole lot for less than $7.

In fact, at the time of writing, they were available for just $6.05. But the price is ncreasing by five cents with every sale, so the quicker you grab this package, the cheaper it will be.

You’ll find all the details here:
http://www.ebooktimes.com/10PLR_10MRR_120509

All of these products come with full master resale rights which means you can sell them from your own website and keep 100% of the profits from every sale.

On top of that, 10 of them come with full private label rights. That means you can edit them, include your own ads and affiliate links — you can even claim authorship.

New Software to Make PDFs (plus a nice gift)

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

Hi. I’ve got three ‘quickies’ for you today. Be sure to check them all.

Here we go…

Quickie #1

If you’re looking for a cheap and easy way to make your own PDF ebooks OR if you’re looking for a very nice product to resell then this is for you.

It’s a re-packaging and re-design of eWriter Pro software and it looks very good indeed.

I’ve always like eWriter Pro as a PDF tool — and with this new version, they’ve greatly enhanced the package.

Here’s the URL again:
http://www.ebooktimes.com/EPDF_060509

Quickie #2

Sticking with software that you can sell, here’s one of the best I’ve seen in quite some time.

It’s not often that you find great software in a very specific (non-marketing) niche that has great mass appeal.

This beauty bucks the trend.

You’ll find all the details here:
http://www.ebooktimes.com/WLS_060509

Quickie #3

Late last year I asked for your feedback regarding what you’d like to see from me in 2009. One thing that a number of you mentioned is that you’d like to see some more non-marketing ebooks among the fr.ee downloads.

So let’s get the ball rolling on that front…

Today I’ve an ebook for you (that includes master resale rights, sales page, graphics, etc.) called “Natural Depression Cures”.

There’s nothing to sign up for, you’ll find the direct download link (and some other goodies) here:
http://www.ebooktimes.com/NDC_Download_060509

That’s it for now — talk to you soon.

Michael
