A Brand New Concept in Blogging…

There’s a brand new online trend that I think you should be aware of — Audio Niche Blogs.
This concept is destined to become huge over the coming months.
Think about this: over 22 million Americans already own some kind of MP3 player — and at least 4 million of those are looking for content besides songs. They’re looking for
content on the things that concern them or interest them: cars, fishing, bird flu, stamp collecting, you name it…..
As you can imagine, this is just getting started — thousands of MP3 Players, iPods, etc. are sold EVERY day. Audio is going to become absolutely HUGE over the coming
months and years.
People have less and less time to sit around reading so, instead, they want to LISTEN to the content that interests them, while they do other things at the same time (driving
to work, jogging, working out, chilling out…).
So, how the heck do you create Audio Niche Blogs?
Well, that’s where Brandon Hong comes in. Brandon is an established expert in all things Blogs and all things Podcasting. Today, he’s launched the world’s first website
dedicated to Audio Niche Blogging.
To find out how you can grab your slice of the Audio Blogging future, just visit Brandon’s new site here: http://www.ebooktimes.com/audioblogs
All the best,

great concept! But… have you actually listened to the ‘common marriage problems’ example audio on his site? it sounds like a robotic voice and I don’t think many people would come back for a second download – it sounds awful, with punctuation in the wrong place in parts, making it difficult to listen to.

Hi Rich,
I agree. Brandon is most likely using text-to-voice software at the moment. I’m hoping this is just early days and, once he has enough members, he’ll start hiring real people to record the audios.
At any rate, as you say, it’s a very interesting concept and I’m certain we’re going to be seeing a lot more of this in the future.
