Free, Original, Professionally-Written Articles For Your Site!

This is a great source if you’re looking to populate your site with original, high-quality articles that are also copyright free!
NewsUSA uses professional writers and editors to create fillers that newspapers can run when they need to fill news space. They have just started a syndication for websites- so if you have a website you can sign up and start using the articles on your site. The fillers usually highlight a client of NewsUsa who is mentioned inside the article.
How can you make money with these?
Easy. You can, for example, surround them with AdSense and/or place a sign up box to capture emails and send targeted offers…
The catagories of articles are pretty extensive: everything from “Tips/How To” to “Family, “Advice”, “Careers” and more are available… hundreds of articles! I’m sure you’ll be able to find at least one category that matches your site’s niche.
To visit the site go to: NewsUSA.com
To sign up for their Syndication service, allowing you to publish these articles on your site, go here: http://about.newsusa.com.gravitatehosting.com/edit-home.asp
The nice thing about these articles, besides being professional written, is there are NO resource box requirements.
In other words, there are no author links… so you can get creative here. Include your own resource box at the top and bottom of each article. All they ask is that you retain the NewsUSA attribution (NU, NUI, NewsUSA) and the client’s name and information inside the article.
All the best,
Michael

Michael,
This is a great resource! Why did you give it up?
It does have a downside though, the links out don’t make me money.
With the kind of sites I’m currently working on it really doesn’t matter.
Thanks for the great tip,
Keith

Thought I would supplement the list of tips here and bring in one of my own:
Fully utilize your resource box. Many people only put one link when they are offered two.
Why? If you have the ability to put two links in the box you should. Put a link of a product you are promoting and a link to your actual website.
You are getting the credit for the clicks and double your chances of getting someone to click on them!

Call it a Resource Box, Author Bio, etc., what it really is is your opportunity to create a compelling call to action for your reader. Even though it is called an Author Bio, it is not the time for you to tell the reader all about you and convince them you are an expert. In fact, if you have not demonstrated that you are an expert in your article, it is way to late too try to do it now.
Even though it is an official Call to Action, I like to teach my students and members to use what I call “invitational language” in their Resource Box. Invitational language can be something as simple as “and now I would like to invite you to…” and then name the next action you would like them to take.
This is as opposed to something like “get this great new product now and all your problems will be solved by morning and if you don’t you will be broke forever!” Sure I’ve exaggerated a bit, but not by much.
